Professional support lawyer corporate immigration
Thom studied law at Erasmus University Rotterdam, followed by a master’s degree in business law. During classes in business economics in secondary school, Thom already knew that he had a feeling for the legal field, which is why studying law was a logical next step for him. During his degree programme, he already gained experience by means of a work placement where he was allowed to negotiate lump sum payments of intermediary agreements, and was allowed to assist in files concerning intellectual property right and contractual security. Thom has since graduated, and joined Maes Law as a professional support lawyer in September 2021. He supports the corporate immigration practice group in their work.
Honesty and integrity are very important to Thom. The most important thing that he wants to offer clients is a contribution towards an understandable and no-nonsense answer to legal questions.
